I love scented candles. They’re a great way to easily fill a room with a wonderful scent and during the holiday season, I love lighting various scented candles around the house. If you’re the type of person that loves gifting candles, then you should check out Prize Candle.
Prize Candles offers a variety of all natural soy wax candles in various fragrances that will enhance your environment with the added bonus of a prize in every candle. Each prize is worth $10 to $5,000 and you can easily check how much your prize is worth on their website.
To use your candle, light it as you normally would any scented candle and then after a few days, your prize should become visible. You will see a white bag engulfed in the candle wax and once it’s visible, remove the prize pouch with a pair of tweezers. Carefully unwrap the pouch and discover your new prize. There will be a code located on the label that you can use to see how much your prize is worth.
I received two soy candles from Prize Candle in the scents Vanilla Chai and Autumn Magic.
Autumn Magic: The magical scent of a glorious sun-filled autumn afternoon with colorful freshly fallen leaves, crunching under your feet.
Vanilla Chai: Delicious Vanilla Chai tea with sweet creamy vanilla has hints of grated clove and spicy cinnamon. Snuggle in front of a fire with family, friends, or just cozy up with a good book.
I enjoyed the scents of both candles, however the Vanilla Chai one was my favorite of the two. As soon as I lit the candles, the scents quickly filled the room, it was really refreshing. I noticed the prize bags peeking out of the candles after about three days of using them and I used a pair of tweezers to retrieve the bags. The wax was really sticky and it was quite messy trying to get the prizes out of the bags. Both of the rings were completely covered in candle wax, so I spent about ten minutes trying to get the wax out of the rings with soap and warm water.
After cleaning the rings, they looked really beautiful and really shone through. The prize bags had a piece of paper that included a code and so I looked up the values of both rings through PrizeCandle.com under the appraisal tab on the website. The silver ring was worth $100 and the purple ring was worth $10, which was super neat considering both candles only retail about $29.99 So you’re getting your money’s worth when you buy them.
I think Prize Candles would make a great gift this holiday season to a special someone you care about. The surprises inside these candles are really an added bonus because the candles themselves are amazing. Beautifully scented and long-lasting.
