Moms, you know how difficult it can be to find time to get in a good workout. Whether it’s running your household, taking care of the kids, or working or going to school, there is always something else going on that needs more attention from you than getting in shape. Right?
Fit Moms for Life is the perfect solution for mothers who want a fitness program that works. The five pillars of fitness that Dustin discusses in his book include: Mindset, Nutrition, Strength Training, Burst Training, and Environment. Each section outlines the importance of staying fit, and how to achieve that goal. The chapters are detailed enough for moms to create their own personalized health and fitness plans without having to sacrifice much time.
My favorite section of Fit Moms For Life was the section on nutrition. There are so many simple tips and tricks that Dustin shares in this section that can impact your life significantly. Something as simple as pairing a protein with a carb can make a huge difference in reaching your fitness goals. I learned a lot about nutrition from reading this book that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise.
His tips are also very realistic to a busy mom. We certainly cannot spend hours a day working out, and Dustin mentions that it takes as little as 15 minutes a day to get into shape and stay healthy. Any one can spare 15 minutes a day, including me, so I know that by following Dustin’s tips in Fit Moms for Life, I can achieve my weight loss goals.
