Getting ready for the holidays can be a very stressful task. From cleaning the house and setting up decorations to preparing the food and inviting all your guests, it’s easy to get lost in the madness that is holiday preperation.
Well, what if I told you that you can easily solve your stress problems in a matter of a few minutes?
You’d think I’d be lying, right?
Well, I’m not. You can totally solve your stress problems in the matter of a few minutes, with the help of Kristen K. Brown’s new book, The Happy Hour Effect: 12 Secrets to Minimizing Stress and Maximizing Life.
This comprehensive guide outlines specific steps you can take towards living a healthier, happier, and stress-free life quickly and easily.
Kristen’s voice throughout the book is motivating, inspiring, and funny so it made reading the entire book well worth it. Each chapter includes secrets towards transforming all areas of your life such as: relationships, work, family, money, your overall well-being, and so much more.
Each chapter is filled with the secrets for living more stress-free in a certain area in your life and is backed with inspiring quotes, expert interviews, statistics, visual content, and more.
What I loved about reading through each secret is how Kristen outlines how much time it will take to implement each secret into your life, the level of effort it will take, expected results, and QR codes that link to worksheets, videos, how-to tips, and more. She also outlines these tips using an action grid where you can see exactly what you need to do and how long it will take for that certain area in your life.
You can choose to work on all the areas outlined in the book, or just a couple that you think cause the more stress in your life. For me, it was chapter 2: Work & Money and chapter 3: Core Life. I liked reading the tips and suggestions Kristen had for these two chapters because they certainly cause me the most stress. I’m working on implementing her secret tips into my daily life now, and have definitely seen a difference already.
The tips that Kristen shares in her book are not meant to be difficult to attain. They are simple and flexible, but it’s all about putting them to use in your daily life. If you can find a way to take the time to implement the lessons in the book, you’re going to be happier and less stressed.
