While my husband is setting up to watch the Playoffs with our son today, I’m busy thinking about what appetizers and desserts I’ll be making for our mini Super Bowl party. This year, the big game is Sunday, February 2nd. I always whip our usual favorites … sausage cheddar balls, baked beans with lil smokies, a big pot of chili and plenty of chips and dips. I’m hoping my husband will pull out his new smoker and smoke us some ribs and chicken too. But I’m also thinking about what new recipes I can add to the menu and how to make in smaller portions.
Here’s our top picks for Super Bowl Party essential for an awesome (and delicious) game day celebration.
For a small Super Bowl party, mix up some frozen margaritas while enjoying the game. While my husband is all about the beer, I prefer fruity frozen concoctions while I fast forward through the game to get to the hilarious commercials, unless the Packers are play, then I’ll watch the game.
